Grand Valley Interfaith Network will host its “April Foods Day” on Saturday, April 26, 2025 (between 9:00a and 11:30a), collecting non-perishable food and other items to fill the pantries of five local charities that feed people throughout the Grand Valley.

Drop-off point is at the Downtown Vineyard Church (5th and Grand Avenue in Grand Junction, east parking lot – enter from 5th Street). For alternate drop-off time and location – or to collect a unique shopping list and grocery bag for donations – call 970-261-7695.
Spiritual communities, non-faith based organizations, and individuals are invited to participate. GVIN provides customized shopping lists attached to empty grocery bags, a news release said.
“Each list is unique to a specific food bank and helps ensure the agency receives their most needed items.”
Food banks usually supported are La Plaza (formerly Child and Migrant Services), Clifton Christian Church Food Pantry, Community Food Bank, Grand Valley Catholic Outreach, and Grand Valley Peace & Justice.
